Wim Wenders will chair the jury at the 76th Berlin Film Festival

On December 12, it became known that German director, writer and photographer Wim Wenders will head the jury of the 76th Berlin International Film Festival.

“Wim Wenders is one of the most influential voices in international cinema. For six decades, he has created films that delight us with their humanity and sense of wonder. His insatiable curiosity and deep command of the language of film are evident in every work he makes, whether exploring the talents of other creators or illuminating our own search for meaning,” said Berlin Film Festival director Trisha Tuttle.

During his directing career, Wim Wenders directed films such as Alice in the Cities (1973), The American Friend (1977), Sky Over Berlin (1987), Paris, Texas (1984), Perfect Days (2023). The 76th Berlin Film Festival will take place from 12 to 22 February 2026.
