Netflix has confirmed the cast for its new series Kennedy. Michael Fassbender will star as Joseph Kennedy Sr.
Also announced for the project are Laura Donnelly (Rose Kennedy), Nick Robinson (Joseph Kennedy Jr.), Joshua Melnik, Saoirse Ronan, Ben Miles, Imogen Poots (Gloria Swanson), and others.
The show will be based on Frederick Logevall’s book JFK: Growing Up in the American Century, 1917-1956. The series will tell the story of the rise of America’s most famous dynasty.
Danish director Thomas Vinterberg (Another Round) will take the director’s chair. The exact release date for Kennedy is still unknown.
