NEON will release Steven Soderbergh’s new film Christophers in US theatres on April 10, according to reports.
The cast includes Ian McKellen (The Lord of the Rings), Michaela Coel (Black Panther), James Corden (Cats) and Jessica Gunning (The Crown).
The story follows the children of a once-famous artist. After their father’s death they hire a forger to complete the unfinished paintings, pass them off as newly discovered masterpieces and sell them for a profit. Christophers premiered at the Toronto film festival in the fall. Critics welcomed the film (97% on Rotten Tomatoes).
