Shooting on Robert Eggers’s upcoming horror film Werwulf (The Werewolf), which took place over roughly two months in England, has wrapped. The horror starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Lily-Rose Depp and Willem Dafoe is now in post-production. Cast and crew marked the end of the shoot: Ralph Ineson, who appears in the film, posted party photos on social media, and cinematographer Jarin Blaschke shared a picture of mud-covered equipment and boots with the caption: “Location shoot on Werwulf complete.” Plot details are under wraps, but the story is set in a quiet medieval village where ancient werewolf folklore becomes grim reality for inhabitants who feel the gaze of a mysterious predator. Insiders say the dialogue in the script, which Eggers co-wrote with Icelandic writer Sjón Sigurdsson, will match the dialect of the period.
