Locations announced for the continuation of the popular series ‘The White Lotus’

While Mike White, creator of ‘The White Lotus,’ is finishing work on the script for the fourth season, key details about the location of future filming have been revealed. The new chapter will be set on the French Riviera, with the historic Chateau de La Messardiere palace hotel in Saint-Tropez as the main location. Built in the 19th century and surrounded by 13 hectares of parkland with pine trees, cypresses and jasmine, the hotel is part of the prestigious Airelles Collection. It is owned by Stéphane Courby, founder and head of the Banijay Group media holding company, known for producing shows such as Peaky Blinders. Chateau de La Messardiere matches the level of luxury familiar to viewers of the series: rooms here start at $3,000 per night and go up to $8,000 and above. The hotel’s facilities include a spa complex, a private beach (guests are transported there by Rolls-Royce), restaurants, sports activities and even a kids’ club. According to sources, filming will last from late April to late October. However, as in previous seasons, the action will not be limited to one hotel. Mike White, known for his attention to detail and unique locations, plans to use several locations along the French Riviera, as well as shoot some scenes in a Paris hotel. The plot of the new season is being kept under wraps. All that is known is that the story will once again revolve around a group of guests and hotel staff over the course of a week. However, according to some reports, the Cannes Film Festival may be integrated into the narrative.
