Режиссёры «Зверополиса 2» Джаред Буш и Байрон Ховард подтвердили работу над триквелом мультфильма о жизни антропоморфных животных. Информация прозвучала во время сессии вопросов и ответов с создателями. В данный момент ведутся переговоры о сюжете будущей анимации.
По словам Буша, концепция «Зверополиса 3» будет определяться в ближайшие 2–3 года, после чего ещё два года займёт производство проекта. Судя по этим срокам, релиз триквела не стоит ждать раньше 2030 года.
Напомним, что «Зверополис 2» вышел в прокат в середине декабря и сразу стал лидером мирового проката, собрав более миллиарда долларов, что подтвердило популярность франшизы и оправдало решение о продолжении истории.

According to Bush, the concept for “Zootopia 3” will be developed over the next 2–3 years, followed by two more years of production. Based on these timelines, the threequel’s release should not be expected before 2030.
Recall that “Zootopia 2” was released in mid-December and immediately became the global box office leader, grossing over a billion dollars, confirming the franchise’s popularity and justifying the decision to continue the story.
